Together, we develop, introduce, and scale up solutions to the world’s most pressing public health challenges

The scope of our work is vast because it must be. A great number of people are still underserved or marginalised by inequitable systems. To close the gaps, we advance progress in dozens of health areas, from epidemic preparedness, HIV/AIDS, and malaria, to maternal and newborn care, sexual and reproductive health, tuberculosis, and more.
WATER AND SANITATION
Safe water protects and saves lives. We believe that water is the best investment in the
the world can make to improve health, empower women, enable access to education, increase family income and change lives. Yet 9 million people in South Sudan lack access to safe water.
CHARD organisation is working to provide clean and safe drinking water and sanitation to the needy millions of South Sudanese.
That is why CHARD comes in to offer smart solutions that break down the financial barriers between people living in poverty and access to safe water and sanitation.
CHARD is under the umbrella of a Coalition with water and sanitation organisations that were established to contribute to water resource management and sustainable and hygiene service promotion in South Sudan.
CHARD is dedicated to ensuring potable water supply and improved sanitation integrated with hygiene- promotion is available in good quantity and right time to the citizens of the country, especially the poor, host community, IDPs and marginalised people.
